BACKGROUND
George has over 20 years of experience across specialist trades, architectural, residential, and commercial building design and construction. His expertise spans project management, investment development, construction finance, business, and project delivery.
Originally from the UK and now a proud Australian citizen, George has worked across the UK, Europe, and Australia. His portfolio ranges from 300-year-old English manors to high-end luxury homes, heritage and pre-war builds, as well as commercial and real estate projects.
This global experience has shaped his ability to deliver complex, high-quality outcomes across a diverse range of building environments.
EXPERIENCE
George and tekDB hold multiple QBCC licences and qualifications, including building, carpentry, and waterproofing, along with qualifications in business, leadership, technology, project management, and construction management.
tekDB also has 20+ years' experience with goverment and specialised industires (including holding security clearences).
He also leads and invests in luxury multi-million-dollar residential developments across Brisbane’s blue-chip suburbs and the Gold Coast, which he and the tekDB team design and construct.
These projects have achieved multi-award winning status, strong sales results, industry recognition, and consistent praise for quality, craftsmanship, and speed to market.
SKILLS
George is known for the depth and diversity of his technical (and practical) skillset and his systems-based approach to construction. His expertise includes building, carpentry, waterproofing, interior design, engineering, high-end architectural construction, and detailed fit-out craftsmanship.
He approaches waterproofing not as a standalone trade, but as an integrated part of the overall building system — ensuring it is properly designed, sequenced, and executed in line with overall building performance.
A hands-on tradesman at heart, George is most comfortable onsite and working directly with clients. He is recognised for his problem-solving ability, engineering and planning skills, build efficiency, and consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes.
George’s dexterity onsite borders on superhuman — somewhere between a master craftsman and a wild-west gunslinger — combining eye-watering work speed, precision, and technical skill to solve complex challenges under pressure. His strengths in budgeting, construction costing, and negotiation further position him as a highly capable and trusted construction partner.
INTERESTS
Outside of work, George enjoys anything with an engine and wheels that he can fix (or pull apart), part-time trading, is an avid fisherman and jet-ski enthusiast, and is a dedicated husband and family man.

BACKGROUND
Bree is the operational force behind tekDB, bringing over 20 years of experience as a business executive, designer, and qualified project manager.
Her background spans executive business, design, customer relations, business agility, technology, legal, finance, and operational solutions — working with some of Australia’s largest companies, including the construction sector. Bree has built a career defined by adaptability, continuous learning, and a deep understanding of both business and construction environments.

Bree holds multiple qualifications and specialisations across business, construction, people management, project management, AI, trades, and technology.
As the driving force behind operations and client delivery at tekDB, she leads project management, business systems, and client engagement — ensuring every project runs efficiently, communicates clearly, and delivers a high-quality outcome.
Her experience across complex industries allows her to bring structure, clarity, and high-performance delivery to every stage of the process.

Bree is known for her exceptional attention to detail, performance-driven mindset, and ability to bridge the gap between business, design, and construction.
Her strengths lie in project management, client experience, operational systems, and delivering tailored solutions that align with both client expectations and project requirements. She brings a rare combination of creativity and technical capability, enabling tekDB to challenge traditional construction approaches and deliver more refined, client-focused outcomes.
When not in the office, Bree is hands-on — regularly on-site alongside the team getting her hands dirty. She believes in fully immersing herself in every project to understand it in detail and ensure the best possible result for clients. Don't be fooled as Bree knows her way around a construction site and can see beyond the surface with precision.
